Mobile App Development

Students will learn introductory programming concepts such as, looping, functions, modularity, variables, conditionals, functions, and classes.

Who is it for?

  • Are you 6+ years old? (13+ for Android/iPhone)

  • Do you know Scratch/Kotlin already?

  • Would you like to make your own mobile phone apps?

Don't just use apps. Make them.

MIT APP Inventor

Using MIT's APP Inventor we can teach mobile app development to younger students as well. APP Inventor uses a basic drag-and-drop interface for U.I. development, and a simple block-based programming language (similar to Scratch) for coding the apps themselves.

Android Development

We can help students learn how to build Android apps using Kotlin. We also will be covering the basics of XML which is used for U.I. design.
